Eastern States Tryouts Prep Clinic

Hosted By: Working Horses 4-H Club, West Gardiner, ME


This event is being held to help our 4-Hers intent on trying out for the Eastern States team.  It is a brush up on Showmanship, Equitation, and Pleasure, for both English/Saddle Seat and Western Competitors.  We will be limiting the number of participants with horses to 12, to be able to give each person individual attention, but spectators will be welcome. 

This clinic is open to all 4-Hers intent on participating at Eastern States Tryouts.  All 4-Hers must have submitted an Intent to Participate form and an Animal Approval form.  An adult must accompany all 4-Hers from their club for safety purposes. 

Clinician:  Kyle Smith – 4-H and Open Show Judge

Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Cost: $40.00/participant
Where: Shamrock Farm, Pond Road, West Gardiner, ME 

Current Rabies & Coggins Required 

This will be a bring your own lunch event – but drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
