Beef Youth Show

New England Galloway Group, in cooperation with Fryeburg Fair, presents the 19th Annual Youth Show (formally known as the Maine/New England Beef Expo) at Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine - April 24 - 26, 2009.

The Expo draws attendees for a weekend of Purebred Sales, Youth Activities, Commercial Exhibitors, & Educational Seminars.  The public is invited for a wonderful family oriented weekend.

Youth Expo Activities

All breeds are welcome to participate in the Expo shows.  Activities are open to all ages, but you must be between the ages of 8 and 21 (as of January 1, 2009) to compete in the show ring.  Shows will include an all-breed heifer show and steer classes (participants in the Angus and Belted Galloway  steer classes must present registration papers).  You can take part in Educational Seminars, Fitting Contest, Showmanship Contest and an Herdsman Contest.  Don’t miss being part of this fun-filled weekend where you can learn and compete in the largest youth show in the Northeast.  If you would like more information please call Diane Gushee at 207-935-2248 or e-mail at: dianeg@shawneepeak.com.
