Volunteer Opportunities
In 2011, 1438 4-H volunteers contributed over 16,500 hours (an estimated value of $272,959.89 in donated time) at agricultural fairs around the state supporting youth in livestock projects and raising over $38,000 to support local county 4-H programs.
The staff of the 4-H Foundation always appreciate the aid of volunteers. We have long term (such as serving on the board) and short term (such as completing light clerical duties) opportunities available. Every job is important to the success of the 4-H Foundation and will introduce you to new skills and new friends who are also interested in seeing Maine’s young people learn by doing.
If you’d like more information on becoming a volunteer, please contact Angela Martin.

See University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H for more volunteer opportunities.
