University of Maine Cooperative Extension is on the move. Times are tough, but the opportunities to make a difference for Maine people are many. As the largest outreach component of the University of Maine System, we are committed to working successfully with a broad range of partners to meet the needs of Maine people, and we understand that community-based collaboration is key to achieving measurable results. We report annually to local, state, and federal funders, and are eager to explain that the tax-payer investment in UMaine Extension reaps a valuable dividend for Maine people.
We believe that the need for University outreach through a committed, enthusiastic, and energized Cooperative Extension program has never been greater.
