Jen’s work focuses on volunteer development and management. She provides support, training and resources to Extension staff and faculty who engage volunteers in programmatic efforts and provides direct training to 4-H volunteers. She is currently collaborating with partners to develop a micro credential for volunteer management. Her research interests include volunteer impact and volunteer engagement for new and under-represented audiences. In addition, she is a co-leader for the UMaine Extension IDI project, working directly with colleagues to help individuals increase cultural competency.
