Plant Sale Benefits UMaine Master Gardener Volunteers!

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and its Master Gardener Volunteers are offering a “Grow it Right!” plant sale in 2015 to raise funds for its Master Gardener Volunteers program. The educational aspect of this special project sets it apart from other plant sales.

Members of the public can support the project by ordering any of the following:

l Raspberries – Killarney (early), $18.00/set of 5 canes

l Blackberries – Chester, $25.00/set of 3 canes

l Rhubarb – MacDonald, $12.00/crown

l High Bush Blueberries – Patriot, Blueray, Northland, & Jersey, $35.95/3 bushes. Two varieties per pack, no choice.

l Strawberries – Brunswick, Sparkle, & Wendy, $15/25 dormant plants. Strawberries are sold in packs of 25 plants. Sorry, we cannot mix varieties; only one variety of your choice will be in each pack.

l Asparagus – Jersey Supreme, $15/bundle of 10 crowns
