Support Courage To Teach® Aroostook County

As a program of UMaine Cooperative Extension, a 501c3 organization, Courage to Teach® – Aroostook County relies on the support of friends to keep this personal and professional development retreat series affordable for Pre K-16 educators and school leaders in the region. Your tax-deductible contribution is an investment in educators who are committed to their profession and in the children, families, and communities of Maine.

With the support of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension working closely with area schools and University campuses, we are committed to helping individual educators and school leaders “reconnect who they are with what they do” by providing a one-year weekend retreat series. The actual cost for offering the series ($2700 per person), is more than the $500 fee that participants pay for all meals, lodging and the one year retreat experience. Your contribution will help us to bridge the gap between the actual cost and the participant's fee to ensure that the program is accessible to a diverse audience.

We invite you to make a gift to Courage to Teach – Aroostook County through a tax-deductible contribution online at our University of Maine secured site: https://secure.hypermediadesign.com/mainealumni/secure_forms/umainedevelopment/

or by check payable to: UMaine Extension Courage to Teach and sent to:

University of Maine Gifts Processing Department

Your donation will help us nurture and sustain the integrity, courage, and commitment of those who nurture our children, families, and communities throughout the County.

“This program has allowed me to focus and give value to my life, allowing me to concentrate on my emotional and spiritual growth and enabling me once again to teach truly from the heart.
