Genus: Trifolium (Yellow Clovers)   Species: agrarium

Description: Very low-growing with small, yellow pea-like flowers clustered together in oblong heads of 15 or more flowers situated above leaves that are divided into 3 wedge-shaped leaflets; Flower heads and leaflets about 1/2″ long; Stems mostly smooth and erect; Leaves alternate and finely toothed; Middle leaflet distinctly stalked.

Habitat: Lawns, fields, and roadsides;

In Bloom: July-September
