Saving money through energy conservation and alternative energy sources

Many Maine residents are having trouble meeting their needs for heating, transportation, and food due to rising prices. University of Maine Cooperative Extension provides research-based information on how to save money through energy conservation and alternative energy sources.

  • For the homeowner: heating source comparisons; how to conserve energy through insulation and appliance use.
