Using research-based information and resources, faculty and staff help Mainers make behavior changes by: making environmental and policy changes to encourage healthy diets; promoting eating well at all life stages; managing issues of the elderly; and addressing problems of hunger and food security.

Workshops, programs and community interventions are available to Maine-based groups on a variety of topics. Educational materials, catalog listings of federally supported materials (including information on school-age nutrition, dietary recommendations and food labeling) as well as an extensive audio visual library are also available.
