The Franklin County 4-H Fair will take place on Saturday, June 2 at the Farmington fairgrounds. The purpose of the Fair is to provide 4-H members the opportunity to learn about the various projects that are available in the program and to interact with other members and clubs in the county. In the barn area, there will be demonstrations by some of the large animal 4-H groups such as beef, dairy, and horse. These will take place throughout the day. Goats and sheep will also be on exhibit.

A “Garden Angels” workshop will be held in which 4-H members and volunteers will be making window boxes for a seniors gardening project.

For youth interested in archery, a certified archery instructor will be on hand to teach archery safety procedures and give participants an opportunity to try their hand at a bow and arrow.

There will be three contests taking place which will be open to public participation: a Photo Contest, a Decorated Hat Contest, and a Baking Contest. Divisions for all contests are:
