Dill Talks to Press Herald about Whiteflies

James Dill, pest management specialist with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, spoke about whiteflies and the harm they bring crops in the Portland Press Herald article “Whiteflies force Backyard Farms to destroy crop.” Dill said whiteflies, which are not harmful to people, suck out plant juices, causing the leaves to yellow or die.
