FROM THE SOIL UP

a Webinar for beginning

vegetable gardeners

A three-session course on the  basics of home vegetable gardening, from garden planning to pest management, harvest and storage that you can take on your computer.

In response to a sharp rise in requests for gardening information, University of Maine Cooperative Extension is offering From the Soil Up, a course for beginning vegetable gardeners.  Participants will learn the basics of home vegetable gardening, from garden planning to pest management, harvest and storage.

For the first time in Piscataquis County we are going to offer a Gardening Program through the Internet in a “Webinar.”  You get to view the program, hear the speakers and see the presentation from the comfort of your computer.  The course comprises three one-hour sessions that were produced in 2009 during the growing season.
