The purchase of goods and services by the University is subject to Maine Statute (5 M.R.S.A. Sections 12021-12024) and University of Maine System Administrative Practice Letter (APL) VII-A.  Additionally, the expenditure of Federal funds is subject to Procurement Standards established by the Office of Management and Budget.  The information provided in the links below will guide you through the proper purchasing methods.
