Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove, in partnership with UMaine Extension, have been getting the people of Maine outdoors and teaching them how we can all be respectful protectors of the Earth since 1982. Our programs touch hearts and minds; teaching values of teamwork, leadership, respect, and a love of the natural world—preparing our young people to be tomorrow's responsible citizens and community leaders. A connection to 4-H is not needed to enjoy our programs.

Imagine a place where you can make new friends, learn skills, and have great adventures. Each summer sees Tanglewood filled with the energy of youth playing and exploring in the outdoors. Whether in the river, fields, or woods, our talented staff creates programming where campers ages 4-17 can be themselves, learn, live, and adventure together.

Blueberry Cove is a place where youth can explore nature in ways that engage their whole being, encouraging them to care for and protect our Earth. Caring and skilled leaders guide fun-filled marine and forest discovery, camping and boating adventures, field games, gardening, and creative arts.
