9:15 a.m. — Keynote: Justin Strasberger, Executive Director, Full Plates Full Potential

10:15 a.m. — Break

10:30 a.m. — Breakout Sessions

You may choose one of the following topics:

  • Addressing Food Security Through Culturally Designed Meals in School Cafeterias
  • Climate Change, Food Waste, and Food Waste Reduction Efforts
  • Campus Pantries

11:45 a.m. — Lunch

12:15 p.m. — Lunch Keynote – John Jemison, UMaine Extension Professor and author of Planning and Managing a Giving Garden (PDF)

1:00 p.m. — Live Feed of Food Challenge, Hitchner Hall Kitchen

1:15 & 2:15 p.m. — Campus Tour Sessions/Poster Sessions

3:00 p.m. — Food Challenge Judging, Wells Conference Center

3:45 p.m. — Grant Project Workshop: ‘Next steps’ Teams will be guided on how to create a project and apply for a $500 mini-grant (required for those applying for the grant)

4:50 p.m.Adjourn and Change the World!
