SUMMARY:4-H Volunteer Connections: Building Connections for Success
DESCRIPTION:Our 4-H Volunteer Connections are structured to offer connection\, engagement\, and networking for our 4-H volunteers in the Northeast Region. We bring volunteers together from CT\, DE\, MA\, ME\, NH\, NJ\, NY\, PA\, RI\, VT\, and WV! These Zoom sessions start with “connection before content” with fun icebreaker games and conversation.  We then move to the evening topic\, sometimes led by experts from different states or volunteers as teams or panelists.  Volunteers get the chance to spend time in breakout rooms with individuals from other parts of the region to share ideas and learn from one another.  We would love for your to join us! \nBuilding Connections for Success \n\n4-H has a rich history filled with traditions and vibrant community partnerships. \nAs a 4-H volunteer\, while it may seem challenging to navigate the organization and feel connected to the broader 4-H community\, you have the power to make a difference. \nJoin us to learn how dedicated 4-H volunteers have faced these challenges head-on through uplifting social gatherings\, informal mentoring\, and strong community connections. \nEnhance your leadership skills by building meaningful connections that inspire and empower. \n\n\nRegister for Building connections is essential for your success as a 4-H volunteer

SUMMARY:Start Your 4-H Volunteer Journey
DESCRIPTION:Thinking about becoming a 4-H volunteer? We are looking for people to help youth find their spark and thrive! We offer lots of ways to be involved depending on your time and interests. Join us for two one-hour virtual sessions to help you with your decision. By the end of the two-part series\, you will have completed four short e-Learning modules to introduce you to the 4-H program\, participate in an experiential learning activity\, learn about the key aspects of positive youth development\, and be introduced to ages and stages of youth. This core training will wrap up with an outline of next steps and an introduction to your county staff contact so you can begin the application process if you choose. No pressure to commit\, no cost\, and no reason to not attend! Please note\, these sessions are for individuals who are not currently enrolled 4-H volunteers. \nRegister for February 21 & 28\, 2025
