Please check our website consistently for postings regarding COVID Safety <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easternstatesexposition.com\/covid19\">https:\/\/www.easternstatesexposition.com\/covid19<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Arrival:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All animals and participants should arrive during their activities check in time.\u00a0 Schedules are available in the activity packets.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0All animals must have a CVI (health papers) and will be verified and inspected for health on their arrival. \u00a0See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/agricultural-fairs-animal-health-rules\/download\">https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/agricultural-fairs-animal-health-rules\/download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>and also review <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/ne-fairs-and-shows-cvi-requirements\/download\">https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/ne-fairs-and-shows-cvi-requirements\/download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Camping: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Moses 4-H Dormitory will not be open this year.\u00a0 Camping is available for parents and committee members on the grounds of ESE.\u00a0 Camping (RV or tent) is charged $15 a day and payable via credit card or cash at the gate as you enter the grounds.\u00a0\u00a0 Camping is available on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n<p>There will be plenty of spots available for your RV\u2019s near the Mallary complex or in the horse show area.\u00a0 You will be directed by the gate personnel where to go.<\/p>\n<p>All those wishing to camp with tents \u2013 (We will have WBYoung open across from the Mallary complex and cordoned off for family groups.\u00a0 Bathrooms will be available in WB Young. Shower and bathrooms will be open in Mallary.\u00a0 All showers in the visitor\u2019s center at Gate 1 will open for Horse Show camping area as well.<\/p>\n<p>Hotels \u2013There is a list of hotels at <a href=\"mailto:info@explorewesternmass.com\">info@explorewesternmass.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Feed Store:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ESE Feed Store will be available during the event for your needs.\u00a0 ESE will provide the bedding necessary for your show.\u00a0 All contestants should plan on bring their own feed and hay for this event. \u00a0Call 413- 205-5307 or email <a href=\"mailto:FStore@thebige.com\">FStore@thebige.com<\/a> to pre-order your supplies.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Food: <\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0After many years of dedicated service, the church ladies and gentlemen notified ESE this week they will no longer be running the Moses cafeteria.\u00a0 They were a tremendous asset to our program and will be missed.\u00a0 There will be a food stand in the Coliseum and one open down in Mallary.\u00a0 ESE will not be paying for 4-H meals, all participants are responsible for their own food.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Night people<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Each state may have one night person stay in the barn.\u00a0 We will be stalling states by aisles.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Chaperones:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Each state is responsible for delineating how it will handle availability of chaperones.\u00a0 Parents\/guardians are responsible for their children unless their respective state program offers other accommodations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OPENING SAFELY &#8211; Guidelines and Procedures for Summer 4-H\/YWS Event Eastern States Exposition, along with public health officials, strives to present a clean, safe environment and to communicate with guests the changes to expect to experience this 2021 summer 4-H\/YWS Event.
