Come join the Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties 4-H program at their monthly workshops \u2013 the Third Friday of every month (unless otherwise noted) from 6:00 \u2013 7:30 pm at the Lisbon Extension Office at 24 Main Street. Anyone interested can contact Melissa Freeman<\/a> or Cathy Gray<\/a> to find out more information.<\/p>\n

October 21, 2022
\nApples!<\/strong> – We will be making homemade applesauce using locally sourced apples.\u00a0 Youth participants will take home one container of applesauce.<\/p>\n

November 18, 2022
\nCard Making<\/strong> – Learn to make a specific design using stamps and decorative papers.\u00a0 You can also make up your own design.\u00a0 Participants will go home with at least two cards.<\/p>\n

December 16, 2022
\nGame Night<\/strong> – Come hang out with your friends (or make new friends) in the Teen Lounge Area.\u00a0 We have lots of games for large or small groups.\u00a0 Feel free to bring snacks!<\/p>\n

\nDigital Marketing<\/strong> – Have you ever wanted to advertise your event, group, or special cause but were not sure how to get the word out?\u00a0 Learn how to create digital posters for use on social media!<\/p>\n

February 17, 2023
\nShort Film Making<\/strong> – Looking for a creative way to share your story?\u00a0 In this workshop, youth will learn how to use digital storytelling to create their own short film to tell a story of their choosing and then be invited to show their short film at the Movie Premiere in April!<\/p>\n

March 10, 2023
\nSpa & Relaxation Science<\/strong> – \u201cMindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens,\u201d (University of California, Berkeley). This workshop will help with that by teaching participants to make their own relaxation\/spa items and learn some fun science as well!<\/p>\n

April 21, 2023
\nMovie Premiere<\/strong> – This event will feature all of the short films that were created from the Short Film Making workshop.\u00a0 Popcorn and drinks will be served for this fun-filled evening!<\/p>\n
