The Communications Professional with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension is responsible for developing, writing, editing and distributing media releases, articles, blogs, social media posts, infographics and other content to enhance awareness and media coverage of the statewide programming at UMaine Cooperative Extension.

Before joining UMaine Cooperative Extension, Ratzlaff worked for five years as a Multimedia Video Journalist for CBS2/KCAL9-TV News in Los Angeles, CA, where she spent most of her time reporting on breaking news and creating video content in its entirety by filming, editing, writing and posting it online. Before her time in television news, Ratzlaff also worked as a staff writer at the Antelope Valley Press in Palmdale, CA. There she spent most of her time reporting on breaking news, writing daily feature articles, researching stories and capturing images.
