Kathryn began her position in September of 2017. Her background lies in experiential, outdoor and environmental education over the past seven years. She also has a fair amount of experience in organic agriculture, herbalism and homesteading, as well as art and movement based curriculum. Kathryn intends to establish more programming with schools, organizations and the 4-H camps in Knox and Lincoln counties. She greatly looks forward to learning and growing within extension and wants to hear about ways in which 4-H can better serve youth in the area and the state of Maine.

Education:

  • B.A., Dance and Comparative History of Ideas major, with a focus on American Indian Studies, Disability Studies, and Choreography/Improvisational Performance. University of Washington Seattle.
