Review Project Record requirements on the <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/4h\/volunteers\/project-records\/\">Project Records info page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong>4-H Service Learning Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The Executive Committee for the And\/Sag Extension office is excited to invite senior 4-H members to serve as Executive Committee members.\u00a04-H&#8217;rs\u00a0in this new role would serve as liaisons\u00a0between 4-H youth in the counties and the Executive Committee,\u00a0bringing a youth perspective to the work of the committee.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">This youth member role will have a large mentoring component with\u00a0the committee and\u00a0Ms. Laura: offering Youth Executive Committee members the opportunity to see how a community-based executive committee\/board operates, how the committee supports the work of the organization, and a way for local 4-H members to build upon and learn new leadership skills.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Contact Ms.\u00a0Laura for the role description and application.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><i>Nominations are due October 3rd!<\/i><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Members selected will be inducted into the Executive Committee at the Annual Meeting on Wed, October 21st.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><strong>Topsham Fair 2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Congratulations to our Exhibitors at the Topsham Fair! The kids practiced hands on Liberty, Equitation, Equine Body Work, Saddle Fitting and Mounted Shooting- that they absolutely loved. Huge thank\u2011you to our volunteers and clinicians for supporting the kids for a hot weekend \u2014 your generosity keeps opportunities like this thriving for our youth. Tickets: Maine 4-H Day at UMaine Football<\/h3>\n<p>Join Maine 4-H at the University of Maine on\u00a0<strong>Saturday, October 17<\/strong>, as the Black Bears take on Bryant University! The game begins at\u00a0<strong>1:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Come early to connect with other 4-H members and families, learn about upcoming 4-H opportunities, and enjoy time together before cheering on the UMaine football team.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will be\u00a0<strong>$15 per person<\/strong>. You can purchase your tickets on the <a href=\"https:\/\/um-tickets.evenue.net\/promotions\/4HFB\">4-H Football Experience<\/a> page. We hope you can join us!<\/p>\n<h3>4-H Super Sitters Virtual Series<\/h3>\n<p>Learn the basics of babysitting through our introductory 4-H Super Sitters Virtual Series! 4-H staff will introduce interested teens to the basics of babysitting \u2013 what questions to ask families, how to hold a baby and change a diaper, and the development stages of children. This workshop is targeted for youth ages 11-18, with a maximum of 12 youth participants. The last session, December 1, will be a hybrid model, in-person location(s) to be determined.
