{"id":9996,"date":"2024-05-02T09:03:21","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T13:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/aroostook\/?page_id=9996"},"modified":"2025-02-04T12:45:16","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T17:45:16","slug":"4-h-spring-fling-may-11-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/aroostook\/4h\/4-h-spring-fling-may-11-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"4-H Spring Fling May 3, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Aroostook 4-H Spring Fling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Saturday, May 3, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Southern Aroostook Ag Museum<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(1678 US-1, Littleton, ME 04730)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are excited to invite you to our first <\/span><b>Aroostook<\/b><b> 4-H Spring Fling<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 We hope you will join us for a day filled with learning and fun.\u00a0 Members will participate in activities that will help them prepare for fairs and projects, explore a new interest, and meet friends.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Throughout the day, UMaine Extension staff, 4-H staff, and local volunteers will be leading our youth through workshops.\u00a0 Each member will have the opportunity to participate in three of the workshops listed on the back of the page.\u00a0 All of the workshops can be aligned with 4-H projects and\/or opportunities to participate in the fair.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Things to know\u2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Registration is required<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: You can also register by calling the office at 207.532.6548.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Lunch will be provided<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Bring a friend<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: If you have a friend or family member who is interested in joining 4-H, please invite them to join us.\u00a0 There is a section for their contact information on the registration form.\u00a0 4-H staff will contact them regarding release and waiver forms.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Door prize<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: All registrants will be entered into a door prize drawing.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Dress accordingly:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> If you choose animal workshops, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.\u00a0 Failure to be properly dressed may result in an inability to participate.
