SCORE Maine – Farmer and AgriBusiness Resources
SCORE is making an effort to work more with farmers. They have assembled a team of certified SCORE volunteers who are willing to work directly with farmers and small agriculture businesses in Maine to help them address issues such as getting started, profitability, and growth.
The efforts include the following methods in reaching and teaching farmers and small business owners about sound business practices.
- Mentoring provides improved chances for success through one-on-one business coaching—in person or virtual
- Workshops provide training on critical topics in an environment where you can learn from experts and cohorts of similar business owners
- Online Resources can be your playbook to provide step-by-step outlines for small business strategies
