Registration Still Open for Annual Blueberry Hill Farm Field Day in Jonesboro on June 26th
This event will highlight the cutting edge innovation and practical application of research-based knowledge conducted at the University of Maine on wild blueberry. This work is shaping the future of wild blueberry production in Maine with you and for you. Farmers and interested members of the public are invited to learn, connect, and contribute!
In the morning we will cover seasonal observations, harvester cleaning and innovation, nitrogen budgets, sprayer calibration and hear an update from the Wild Blueberry Commission. Then we will have a delicious lunch prepared by Angie’s Comfort Kitchen and wild blueberry ice cream. In the afternoon we will rotate through insect, weed, and disease identification and smart phone app training stations.
