Phenology Update

This week is peak green fruit, and as long as we continue getting some rain, they should ripen and fill out nicely. Below you will see this week’s phenology table, which is also available online.

Tip die back was present in all prune locations.
Less than 0.05% blue fruit were observed in Warren, Hope, Orland, and Aurora.

Research Activities

This week, we counted a lot of green fruit in our nitrogen and calcium studies. We also started our second year of a drone spray drift study. We’re busy planning and preparing for harvest time studies as well!
