New Bulletin: Weed Management in Wild Blueberries
UMaine Extension has released a new resource, Bulletin #2384, Weed Management in Wild Blueberries. This bulletin provides conventional and organic Maine wild blueberry growers with an integrated approach to managing weeds, including scouting and mapping, soil pH and nutrient management, mulching, pruning, mowing, burning, equipment sanitation, and chemical control.
The bulletin also highlights fall weed management to prevent weed seed production and weaken perennial weeds before the next growing season.
