Requests for Reusable Facemasks
Maine CDC has recommended that individuals wear cloth masks to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry is partnering with the Maine Department of Corrections to make and distribute, at no cost, reusable cloth facemasks for the agricultural community in Maine. We need to obtain a head-count of our growers who need masks this season and how many. PLEASE NOTE: Cloth masks are not equivalent to N95 masks, but have been proven effective in reducing the spread of COVID-19. MASKS ARE LIMITED TO 2 MASKS PER PERSON AND ARE ONLY FOR AGRICULTURAL WORKERS.
