Enterprise Budgets
The following enterprise budgets were created by Dr. Aaron Hoshide. 2026 Budgets were created with guidance from Dr. Lily Calderwood, UMaine Extension Wild Blueberry Specialist, and Ron Howard, of Brodis Blueberries LLC. 2024 Budgets were created by Dr. Aaron Hoshide with guidance from Dr. Calderwood and Dr. David Yarborough, UMaine Extension Emeritus Wild Blueberry Specialist.
These budgets were made possible through funds from a Risk Management Agency (RMA) grant and a USDA Transition to Organic Program grant.
You will require Microsoft Excel or equivalent software to open the files (.xlsx). Having these budgets in Excel allows you to play around with your own numbers.

These new budgets assume that used fresh pack line equipment (including an optical sorter and clamshell filler) was purchased from WECO, A&B, or another highbush processing manufacturer rather than from the Maine Wild Blueberry Equipment Company or Acadian Wild Blueberry Equipment Company.
2024 Enterprise Budgets
These older budgets include fresh and frozen operations separately. The fresh budgets here assume that fresh pack line equipment was purchased new from Maine Wild Blueberry Equipment Company or Acadian Wild Blueberry Company.
