<strong>Alternate leaves distinctly arrow-shaped with broad lobes and bitter taste<\/strong>, 1\u2033-4\u2033 long.\u00a0 Red to yellow flowers at top of the plant, small and clustered in a whorl, male and female flowers on separate plants.<\/p>\n<p>-Produces large quantities of pollen<\/p>\n<p>-may be confused with <em>R. acetosa<\/em>; see left sidebar on <a
