Lakeside Leadership (ages 14-16)
Join us for an engaging two-week leadership program designed to motivate and inspire youth to become future role models and civic leaders. Lakeside Leadership combines the best of a traditional summer camp experience – new friendships, skill-building, and evening activities, with a dynamic team of extraordinary staff.
This two-week training program includes skills development in camp activities such as shooting sports, trip planning as well as earning a basic First Aid/CPR certification. This unique program helps to instill in young people the self-discipline and motivation to become leaders and role models at camp, at school, and in their communities.
Your weekend capstone will be an exciting expedition in the Western Maine region. Your group will work together to learn essential trip-leading skills, plan your menu, and prepare for your adventure. Team bonding, communication, and problem-solving skills will come naturally through this experience. Lakeside Leadership will also focus on challenge course facilitation and constructive debriefing as stepping stones towards developing their individual leadership style.
