4-H Maker Mondays

illustration of a turkey, jack o latern and snowflakeOne Monday each month October – December, 4-H Community Education Assistant Sara Conant will offer a themed-activity for youth ages 5-18. 5-8-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Current 4-H enrollment is not necessary for participation in the Maker Monday program. You can choose to join us for one project or all three. Registration ends one week prior to each class or when full (open to a maximum of eight youth).

Participants will create a turkey out of a pine cone and other craft supplies and learn how to make a Thanksgiving dessert treat.

Winter Horseshoe Door Hanger

Participants will learn how to make a Winter or holiday-themed door hanger from an old, freshly painted horsehoe. Participants can choose between blue, gold, and green shoes at the time of registration.
