They meet in Gorham on the 2nd Tuesday of the month except for July and August. They work with both beef steers and heifers. Open to ages 7 &#8211; 18.\u00a0<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Red &amp; White Faces Baby Beef Club<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>This club is for those 4-Hers who have caught a steer in the calf scramble at Cumberland Fair.<strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Dairy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All-Star <\/strong><strong>Dairy<\/strong> meets 2nd Sunday of the month in Gorham, except June-August. This club is for youth who are interested in a dairy project with members ages 7-18 spread over a large area. All members need a project animal, which can be leased or owned. New members welcome!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Dog<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Looking for volunteers to start a dog club!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Goat<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>White Pine Caprines <\/strong>meets the 1st Saturday of each month in North Yarmouth. They strive to learn citizenship, leadership, friendship, and life skills by learning about and taking care of dairy goats. New members welcome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>General<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Merry Makers 4-H Club <\/strong>meets monthly on the second Sunday afternoon of each month, typically in Standish<em>. <\/em>Each year members select the activities they would like to do for the year. Project areas focus on science, outdoor education, arts &amp; crafts, and community service. Open to all projects and ideas. New members welcome. Open to ages 5-18.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>New Gloucester Library 4-H Club <\/strong>meets in New Gloucester at the Public Library. Usually October &#8211; June at 5:30 pm. on the first Tuesday of the month. Open to all projects and ideas. New members welcome.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scarborough Library 4-H Club <\/strong>meets on the last Monday of the month in Scarborough at the Public Library. Open to all projects and ideas. Not currently accepting new members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Horse<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hoofbeats &amp; Heartbeats\u00a0<\/strong>meets monthly on the first Thursday evening of each month, typically in Gray. Whether you are brand new to the stable or grew up in the saddle, your perspective is welcome here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Rabbits<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Rabbiteers of Maine<\/strong> is a 4-H club that is focused on the care, and production for their rabbits for show or meat. Members will participate in local shows, learn how to handle their rabbits for showmanship, and learn proper nutrition and care for their rabbits. Members are required to maintain a record book to establish their goals and evaluate profit or loss with their finance records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Robotics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4-H Lego Robotics<\/strong> meets 1st Sunday of the month in Falmouth. Explore robotics concepts using Lego Robotics kits. Through a variety of challenges, club members practice building and programming their robots with a partner or small group. This is a non-competitive club-members build robotics skills and gain experience with Lego Robotics in a collaborative and supportive environment. Open to Cumberland County residents and those in towns directly on the Cumberland County border who do not already have a Sheep Club. Members must plan to lease or own at least one sheep. They meet every Monday night from November until April from 6:30pm-8:30pm. They focus on safe handling and firing of .22\u00a0 rifles on a 50&#8242; indoor range. The club strives to teach youth gun safety while also helping them to improve their shooting skills. Meets in Cumberland. Currently not accepting new members, but you can join a waitlist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Swine<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Swiners<\/strong> 4-H Club helps members raise market hogs for Auction at the Cumberland Fair, raise swine for personal use, and for 4-H shows. Some of their members are also part of the racing pig program which is for younger members. Youth learn about caring for, showing, and raising pigs. The club meets monthly on the first Wednesday in Cumberland. Limited enrollment for racing pig candidates (5-8-year-olds).<em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Teen Leadership<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Teen Council <\/strong>is for youth ages 12-18 who want to learn and practice leadership skills. Their primary tasks are to plan and execute county events and a service learning project. Teen Council meets November &#8211; June.
