2026 Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Sale<\/b><\/h3>\n

Shoppers at the Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Sale<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With warmer weather arriving, Cumberland County Master Gardener Volunteers are in full swing planning this year\u2019s plant sale. Join us on Saturday, May 23, 2026, 9 a.m. to noon at the <\/span>UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm<\/span><\/a>, located at 200 Presumpscot Point Rd in Falmouth for this annual event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Master Gardener Volunteers will be on hand to help you select plants and share growing tips. A wide selection of organic vegetable seedlings, herb and annual seedlings, and native and pollinator-friendly plants will be available for purchase. Gently used garden tools and supplies, bags of local compost from Garbage to Garden<\/a>, coffee by Kim’s Coffee Bar<\/a>, soft-serve by Maine Maple Creemee Co<\/a>, and tool sharpening by Wicked Sharp<\/a> will also be available. <\/span><\/p>\n

This community-focused event will feature demonstrations led by Master Gardener Volunteers and Master Food Preservers, along with youth activities hosted by 4-H staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proceeds from the plant sale support community-based horticulture projects throughout Cumberland County. These efforts, often led by Master Gardener Volunteers, include demonstration gardens, Maine Harvest for Hunger initiatives, therapeutic gardens, youth and school garden programs, and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
