\"King2024 Cumberland County Extension Association Pie Bake-Off Contest<\/h3>\n

The Cumberla<\/span>nd County Extension Association (CCEA) hosts an annual Pie Bake-Off Contest sponsored by King Arthur Baking Company as part of our Annual Meeting<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2024 Entries were taken taken at the Cumberland County Open House and Annual Meeting on September 10th at the <\/span>UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm<\/a> in Falmouth<\/span><\/span>\u00a0from 5:00 to 5:30 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n

2023 Pie Bake-Off Winners<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

  1. Exhi<\/span>bitor must use King Arthur Baking Company flour and bring the opened bag of King Arthur flour, a UPC label from the flour bag, or a receipt showing proof of purchase <\/span>when submitting the entry.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. A recipe must accompany all pies.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Only 1 entry per person.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Only homemade 1 crust or 2 crust pies will be judged.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Pies too hot to cut will not be judged.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Pies should feature local ingredients that are identified in the recipe.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Entries were accepted through September 9th, 2024 by calling 207.781.6099, emailing extension.rlreception@maine.edu, or by arriving at the gardens between 5:00 – 5:30PM on September 10th.<\/span><\/p>\n
