Join us for a tour of Pine Root Farm. Farm owner, Ruby Nelson will discuss the five different models she and neighboring farmers use to share fresh produce with low income Mainers. She\u2019ll provide an overview about how her work developed and open up the conversation for others to share their models, experiences, or questions. We\u2019ll also discuss the UMaine Extension Harvest for Hunger program and how Master Gardener\u2019s and other volunteer groups are working with farmers like Ruby to address food security. Farmers, community partners, volunteers, and any other interested parties are welcome. Potluck supper.
