SUMMARY:4-H Super Sitters Virtual Series
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays\, October 27 – December 1\, 2026\, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.\nVirtual – Connect from home; we will mail key materials.\nAges 11 – 18\nLearn the basics of babysitting through our introductory 4-H Super Sitters Virtual Series! 4-H staff will introduce interested teens to the basics of babysitting – what questions to ask families\, how to hold a baby and change a diaper\, and the developmental stages of children. This workshop is targeted for youth ages 11-18\, with a maximum of 12 youth participants. The last session\, December 1\, will be a hybrid model\, with in-person location(s) to be determined. \nCost: Free\nRegister by September 30\, 2026 \n Register Online \n\nIf reasonable accommodation is needed\, please contact Gabrielle Brodek\, 207-255-3345\, or email gabrielle.brodek@maine.edu. As a 4-H volunteer\, you can play an important role in helping youth participate in these awesome opportunities! \nCost: $0\nRegistration is not required. \n4-H Volunteers will receive the Zoom link through emails sent directly to them. \n\nThis session is part of a monthly series\, 4-H Volunteer Huddle\, quick “gather-learn-discuss” opportunities designed to help 4-H volunteers strengthen their skills and get back into the game of 4-H.
