Mainely Dish Recipe Video: Lentil Spaghetti Sauce

Whether you are trying to add more fiber to your meals or trying to prepare more plant-based meals at home, this is a great way to add fiber and protein to your spaghetti sauce. A one cup serving of this spaghetti sauce has 6 grams of fiber (21% of your daily needs) and 10 grams of protein! If you haven’t tried lentils before, this is a great first recipe.

If you need a little more convincing to try this recipe, I will try to describe the taste and texture more. The taste is a combination of Italian seasoned pasta sauce and celery, and the texture is most similar to ground meat because the lentils and diced celery are cooked, but the texture is noticeable and hearty.
