Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternative
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or other nut butter (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
  • Suggest serving with fruit, grahman crackers, or pretzels.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
  • Use leftovers within 4 days.

  • Dietary needs?
    • If you or the people you’re feeding have a dairy allergy or sensitivity use your favorite dairy-free yogurt.
    • Instead of peanut butter, try sunflower butter or soynut butter.
    • To reduce the amount of sugar you can decrease the amount of maple syrup or honey.
  • Types of yogurt:
    • Greek yogurt can be substituted with plain yogurt.
    • While plain yogurt with added sweetener gives you more control over the sugar content, you can use flavored vanilla yogurt if that's what you have. Just keep in mind the added sugar will likely be higher.
