Dill Vinaigrette
Elevate your salads with this dill vinaigrette recipe, a homemade dressing bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. This quick and easy vinaigrette is the perfect addition to green salads, potato salads, or as a marinade.
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
- ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon mustard powder
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon sugar
- ¼ cup vinegar (apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, red or white wine vinegar)
- ¼ cup oil (canola, olive, or vegetable)
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- If using fresh dill, gently rinse under cold running water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- In a container with a tight-fitting lid, combine all the herbs and spices with the vinegar. Shake until mixed.
- In a bowl or container mix dill, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, pepper, salt, and sugar together.
- Add vinegar and mix together.
- Add oil and mix together until combined.
Storage
- For safety, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container as soon as possible, or within 2 hours, and use within 4 days.
