Homemade Sports Drink
Makes 8 servings | Serving size: 8 ounces
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup water, boiling
½ cup orange juice or ¼ cup lemon juice
1 quart plus 3 cups cold water
- In a large (two-quart) pitcher, mix sugar and salt. Add boiling water, and stir to dissolve.
- Add juice and cold water. Refrigerate.
- Drink as needed during sporting activities.
