Soy-Ginger Sauce
A quick, three-ingredient savory dipping sauce that is a perfect companion for vegetable spring rolls, dumplings, or a simple drizzle over rice.
Ingredients
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
- Gently rinse green onions under cold running water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, ginger, and sliced green onions.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Let the dip sit for at least 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This is an optional step, but it helps the ginger and green onion flavors infuse into the soy sauce.
Storage
- For safety, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container as soon as possible, or within 2 hours, and use within 4 days.
Notes
- To make this recipe gluten-free, use gluten-free soy sauce or gluten-free tamari instead of regular soy sauce.
