The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute has developed resources to help you celebrate <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhlbi.nih.gov\/education\/american-heart-month\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">American Heart Month<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Heart healthy foods can help you prevent heart disease and are part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myplate.gov\/eat-healthy\/what-is-myplate\">MyPlate<\/a> recommendations. Foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, plant-based proteins like cooked dry beans, peas, and lentils, nuts, seeds, and non-fat and low-fat dairy foods.
