This refreshing Blueberry Banana Smoothie blends the sweet-tart flavors of fresh blueberries with the creamy richness of ripe bananas, creating a delightful and nutritious beverage packed with antioxidants and potassium.
1cupmilk (skim milk or unsweetened milk alternative)
1cupblueberries, fresh or frozen
1banana, ripe or frozen (Using a frozen banana will make the smoothie more creamy but a regular banana can be used too. A ripe banana is recommended because it helps sweeten the smoothie)
1cupspinach, fresh
¼teaspooncinnamon (optional)
Instructions
Clean the kitchen area and wash hands with soap and water.
Gently rub produce under cold running water.
Combine all ingredients in a blender.
Puree on high speed and blend until smooth.
Serve or store in the fridge for later.
Storage
Refrigerate any leftovers as soon as possible or within 2 hours for safety.
Leftovers can also be frozen in freezer-grade containers or bags and used within 3 to 4 months for best quality.
