Volunteers at the Blueberry Cove Camp Garden work with Master Gardener and Community volunteers, the camp director, staff and children in 30 productive and beautiful raised-bed gardens. The gardens and orchards provide vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers for the camp kitchen. It also provides nature-based education for the campers and local school children. Late season harvests are donated to food pantries and events. The garden is surrounded by fields and forest, and a view to the town of Tenants Harbor across the cove. A large fence keeps out deer and serves as a border for a cut flower garden. It’s a beautiful place to volunteer during the growing season.
