The purpose of the Sagamore Village Gardens is to raise sustainable organic produce that is culturally appropriate for immigrant residents who live in the community, encourage community members to feed their families by utilizing the onsite food pantry or grow their own food in the community garden, and provide research-based gardening information for new and experienced gardeners who need assistance adapting to a new climate.
