Thank you for your interest in seeking Master Gardener Volunteer support for your project. Master Gardener Volunteers are trained by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and actively perform public service to promote sustainable horticulture and improve access to fresh produce. Suitable projects are required to:
have an educational benefit to the broad community and/or address food security
align with the UMaine Master Gardener Volunteer Program Mission to foster sustainable gardening practices and enrich the lives of our Master Gardener Volunteers by educating and mentoring gardeners in the community through opportunities to learn, connect with other gardeners, and support community service projects; and,
follow the University of Maine’s nondiscrimination policy.
