How to Apply / Training Schedules

To become a Master Gardener Volunteer, or to find out more about the program, call or e-mail the UMaine Extension expert in your county or click on the location links below. To become a Master Gardener Volunteer, you must successfully complete 40+ hours of training and volunteer for 40 hours towards community gardening programs and activities.

Participants will be required to do 40 hours of volunteer work in Androscoggin or Sagadahoc Counties by September 30, 2020, to be certified as a Maine Master Gardener Volunteer.
