{"id":27970,"date":"2026-04-28T11:13:22","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T15:13:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/gardening\/?page_id=27970"},"modified":"2026-04-28T11:33:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T15:33:11","slug":"doc-help","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/gardening\/pollinator\/doc-help\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharepoint Application Access Instructions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Accessing the Pollinator-Friendly Garden Application on Sharepoint<\/h3>\n<p>The Pollinator Friendly Garden Certification application is available as a Word doc on Sharepoint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Using a desktop or laptop computer, use the application link on the <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/gardening\/pollinator\/certification\/\">Certify Your Garden webpage<\/a> to open the document in your web browser.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once open, you have several options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Print directly from your browser:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>select the \u201cPrint\u201d button at the top right. Printed applications can be filled out by hand and submitted by mail or scanned and submitted by email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Download the application .docx file to your device:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Select download at the top right.\n<ul>\n<li>Downloaded applications can be opened and edited using:\n<ul>\n<li>Word processing programs on your device. You can use Microsoft Word or free programs such as LibreOffice.<\/li>\n<li>Edit online by creating a free account and uploading the application to Google Drive or Microsoft Word Online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>If you do not have access to a desktop or laptop:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit your <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/county-offices\/\">local Extension office<\/a> and request that they print a copy.<\/li>\n<li>Visit your local library and print a copy.<\/li>\n<li>Request a printed copy by mail by\n<ul>\n<li>contact Rebecca Gray or Jenni Cappelo-Ruggiero at UMaine Extension York County office: 207.324.2814<\/li>\n<li>or email <a href=\"mailto:extension.pollinators@maine.edu\">extension.pollinators@maine.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Submit your application one of the following ways:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mail a printed version to us\n<ul>\n<li>Pollinator-Friendly Garden Certification, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, 45 Kennebunk Rd., Alfred, Maine 04002<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Email an electronic copy to us at <a href=\"mailto:extension.pollinators@maine.edu\">extension.pollinators@maine.edu<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Scan or take a clear photo of a printed version if you opted to hand write your answers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Make sure to save a copy of your application for yourself as a backup.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>No endorsement of products or companies is intended, nor is criticism of unnamed products or companies implied.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accessing the Pollinator-Friendly Garden Application on Sharepoint The Pollinator Friendly Garden Certification application is available as a Word doc on Sharepoint.
