Volunteers will support the Incredible Edible Milbridge Organic Vegetable and Pollinator Gardens at Milbridge Commons.\u00a0\u00a0As a free pick-your-own organic garden that caters openly to the public, there are special considerations in garden development and maintenance. This is a great opportunity for people who love being outside, enjoy gardening, meeting others and supporting an important cause. MGVs can expect to do weeding, planting seedlings or seeds, watering, dead-heading, spreading compost, mulching, and other seasonally-appropriate garden tasks. Volunteers also act as Incredible Edible Milbridge ambassadors – answering questions, directing people to the right resources, and creating friendly garden experiences for visitors.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Our ideal commitment from a Master Gardener Volunteer is once per week throughout the summer.
